The Fall Wine and Arts Festival (formerly, Wine and Wool Gathering) is a gathering to be held the last full weekend in September at Maize Valley Market & Winery in Hartville, Ohio. Hartville is located between Akron and Canton, Ohio.

The Maize Valley team has their fall corn maze, pumpkin cannon and even a hot air balloon event scheduled, that day, weather permitting. Let’s hope we have a beautiful, sunny, warm day this year!!

Maize Valley is located in a 140 year old refurbished barn. The remodeled barn is complete with the original hand hewn beams and cut stone wall. In June, 2001, the new and expanded Maize Valley Farm Market opened for business. They added a bakery that produces made-fresh-daily doughnuts, baked pies, breads, and cookies. They also added a deli that boasts a full line of Amish Country meats and cheeses, and have a variety of Dutch chocolates and other candy. In March, 2005, Maize Valley Winery opened. They grow the fruit for their wines which are bottled on site. Wines can be tasted and bought at the tasting bar located inside the market.

Vendor Selection Criteria: This is a juried show. Selection is based on the quality of the handcrafted item and the number of vendors who apply with similar items. If you would like your photos to be returned, please indicate it on your application. All vendors will be notified of his or her show status by August, 2008.
